OCTOBER 28

Colors:  Brown evokes a sense of stability and someone holding you. Orange evokes warmth and comfort. I am using the following three beautiful shades from Sherwin-Williams to help visually frame today’s devotion:  Umber Rust, Rhumba Orange and lastly, Lantern Light.

Value of Concentration: Lord, I can’t do this anymore! Help Me! Oh! Yes you can. Hold my hands and we will do it together!

Memory Verse: Grasp me tightly, Lord!

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

Happy Halloween in 2 days!

As I sip my Cup of Fancy, Crumb Cake Decaf..with a Pumpkin Scone, fall colors are beginning to slightly fade; however, my palette of fall décor is bursting with color.

By the second week of November, the leaves will be gone. It will be time to hunker down into the warmth of my comforters, spend time with You, and grasp onto your wisdom. “Grasp me tightly, Lord!”

MMM… the word “Grasp,” brings back such fun memories of Trick-or-Treat, back in the ‘50’s. I was the baby of the family. So my older siblings were always grasping my hand and pulling me along. In my plastic mask and costume(which would be ripped by night’s end), we traveled into town to run the streets at my grandparent’s, and aunt’s homes. When I say run the streets..we ran and played in the dark. It was safe to be outside with friends, back in the day. My sister would grasp me so tightly. If it was a cold eve, they’d swaddle me in a blanket as we ran down the street.

ABBA, there is nothing more precious then knowing the following: I am in the comfort of your arms, as you grasp me tightly. Hold me…. Soothe me through my trials.  I praise you Father for the gorgeous fall and harvest that you provided. Thank you for the blessings upon the farm and my family. Bless those who read this today. Grasp Them!  Enfold them with your love and comfort.

MY CHILD: My Mighty Hand will never let you go. Center yourself in my Presence. Once you believe and know that I have you in my grasp, you can do all things through Me. Worry will fade, and a peace beyond understanding will permeate your being. Trust Me in all things.

I love you.

Your,

ABBA, Father
