Memory Verse: Treasured through Transformation

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

As I sip my Cup of Fancy, (Bigelow Constant Comment HotTea and a pumpkin scone), I’m smiling as a realization of color comes over me.

Being a former Art Teacher, I understand the Color Wheel and what colors coordinate with others. Thus, the colors I chose for today’s devotion (the shades of orange and purple), are almost directly opposite each other on a color wheel. This means that they compliment one another.

Trust me, when I looked for colors for transformation, I had no idea what colors would be represented.

Focusing on today’s memory verse, Treasured through Transformation, I realize that I became your Treasured Child as your Holy Word transformed my mind, soul, and well-being……and as I received YOU…as Lord and Savior. 

What a gift it is to know in my heart, that I….AM YOUR TREASURE!

You formed us and knew us in the womb.  You placed us in certain situations throughout our lives.

It is a mystery to me, ABBA, how a non-believer can learn of you and then become a believer and receive you as their Lord and Savior.  I am so thankful that every human is your treasured child….and at some point, you allow them an opportunity to ask Jesus to come into their lives.  

This is the total opposite mind frame of the legalism, in which I was raised. As a child, I was taught I had to earn your love.

The guilt with which the evil one still loves to plague my OCD Brain, is still difficult to process. 

I wake up every morning reminding myself that I am The Righteousness of God through the Blood of Christ Jesus. God’s Amazing Grace washes over me.

Walking through my day, knowing that you are by my side, and helping me to carry my burdens, washes me with peace.  I know that as your Treasure, You will help me throughout my day.

Readers, whether you are working on your career, being a stay-at-home mom, going through health issues, parenting issues, going to school, etc. ….you can be given a peace beyond understanding, when you make getting into His Word, a priority every day. 

Praise You, Father, for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to bring salvation to the world.

MY CHILD: All treasures are revealed to you, once you seek a relationship with Me through my Son, Jesus Christ.  Once the Presence of Christ lives within you (The Holy Spirit) you will be born again of the Spirit…and your mind, soul, and body will be transformed.

You are forever my Treasured Child.
