Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

As I sip my Cup of Fancy, (Irish Breakfast Tea), I think back to my childhood; deep faith, a lot of Catholic Guilt, trying to earn my way to heaven while no mention of GRACE.

Praise God my Mama was born again and taught me the love of Jesus.

Anyone who knows me..knows that I love color. I  taught art and kindergarten.

However…when it comes to setting boundaries and my Conservative, Christian Convictions…I am very BLACK AND WHITE.

My Granny’s quote: “You’ve got to stand for something, or you’ll settle for anything.”

There’s one thing that was ingrained in me as a child; leadership…become the best you can be…work ethic….be proud of yourself….go for the gold. I was raised by a tribe of hard working Germans. They came to this country fought in The Civil War; therefore, they earned their citizenship.

My father..with no high school education…worked himself up to be a supervisor at General Electric.

Am I perfect? I’m far from it; I struggle through this life just as Y’all. However, I have an anchor whose name is Jesus Christ.

Instilling leadership and work ethic within our sons was a major issue for my husband and I. Thus, they all played college football, and became teachers and coaches; touching the lives of young men.

Last year, our twin grandsons played little league football at the public school; even though they attend a Catholic School.

After a game my son said,”Look Granny!” “See what your grandsons are leading!”

I was in awe, as I viewed the twins were leading a prayer circle! My son had taught them to set boundaries.

I asked one of the twins,” Zack, how are the kids in your class?” “Great, except for Pete.”

I encouraged,”So as a leader, how are you going to teach him to set boundaries?”  Yes…this Educator never stops.

For those of you who who feel that you are unworthy and cannot get out of the pit..turn to your ABBA/Jesus/ Holy Spirit..the Trinity.

Set a Boundary for yourself, as a follower of Christ Jesus.  Live in The SonLight, and allow your life to shine brightly for others.

Father, praise You for opening your heart to me this day and blessing me.

MY CHILD: It is only when you open your heart to Me, and allow my Holy Spirit to live within you, that the transformation of your life will begin. Boundaries will be set for you. You will be living a new life according to my will. Psalm139:1-6 O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought from afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me……Such knowledge is too wonderful for me!  I cannot attain it!

I will help you set your boundaries, transform you, and bring you unto myself.

Romans 6:11-14 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, do not allow sin to reign in your mortal bodies so that you obey its evil desires.  Do not offer parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under the law, but under Grace.

Philippians 3:13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken ahold of it.  But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize, for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
