Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

It is almost the beginning of a new year.  The old is gone. As I sip my Cup Of Fancy (Lemon and Lavender Hot Tea ….along with a Blueberry scone) I look forward to building a deeper intimacy with You, ABBA.    

Years ago, you gave me purple, as the color that reflects my redemption. My life story, THE ERSTWHILE  ACORN is a story of how I was recreated by You, ABBA.

You became my intimate, constant companion, through your Holy Spirit.

When I consider my spirituality at 20 years of age….as compared to me now at 75….. it is obvious that it was you, ABBA, and your Holy Word, that transformed my mind.

Throughout my life, as trials and troubles came upon me, my faith carried me.  Your love surrounded me and assured me that there would come a conclusion to my trials; they would end in your way….the perfect way.

As I breathe in purple, I am surrounded by peace, courage, and companionship.  I am relaxed.  I know that whatever comes my way, you are holding my hand.

Purple is my symbol of “Becoming.”I am a “Porphyrophile,” one who exudes the qualities of purple..creativity….spirituality…the extraordinary.

There are many elderly women who have written poems about purple. Here is my prayer of praise to you, ABBA.

          BECOMING 

          Reaching for The SonLight 

          Guided and indwelled by The Holy Spirit
