Pumpkins here! Pumpkins there! Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere! In the fields so orange and bright, one of heaven’s great delights!
OK! I’m in my Kindergarten mode. ABBA, I start off this crisp, cool morning, on the porch, with my Cup of Fancy (Green Mountain Dark Magic Decaf).
The season of fall ignites my spirit: colors, pumpkin everything, fall décor, two big holidays right around the corner….and my palette of greens encourage emotional stability.
It brings joy to my spirit. However, there are times when we are ill, in pain, or emotionally upset, that we have to take a step back.
When I think of the emotional upheaval in which I was raised, due to my father’s mental illness, I had to make some serious decisions for my own mental heath.
The Holy Spirit really got ahold of me. He was the one who opened my mind and heart about emotional reaction.
Take a deep breath and follow this plan.
Before you React…be Exact. If you are in Pain, with your words Refrain. Breathe, stay calm, and as my sweet Farmer always taught me…”One step at a time, Mother.”
Job frustration can be over the top. Been there…Done that! Pray to the Holy Spirit to give you the discernment. It is THE ONLY WAY….to hang on to emotional stability.
Your relationship with God and your faith, can carry you through any and all situations.
In any conflict, The Holy Spirit can give you the words, and the correct recognizance to speak against all who come against you.
Yes, you may need a physician’s assistance or counseling. Praise God, that we are blessed with such good medical care in the present. If meds are essential,,,,NEVER be embarrassed. A chemical imbalance can be taken care of easily. Ninety Percent of all Americans are on some type of mental meds…it’s no big deal.
Father, I praise You, that you have made available healing for your loved ones. However, my emotional strength, comes from ingesting your Holy Word. Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.
Psalm 59:16-17 But I will sing of your strength; in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God are my fortress, my loving God.
Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.
Isaiah 40:28-29 Do you know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, The Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and gives power to the weak.
