Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

Everything is beautiful, green, and the temperature is hot, on the farm. As I begin to spend time with you, on the porch,  my Cup Of Fancy this morning is lemonade with fresh mint from my garden.

My palette of red and whites symbolize the presence of The Holy Spirit.

As a growing Christian, it took me until I was 50 years old to realize, THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVED WITHIN ME! Me? You’ve got to be kidding me?

I was baptized as an infant, received my First, Holy Communion at 8 and was Confirmed at age 9 and no Bible reading. Yep, I really knew how to build a personal relationship with Christ. NOT!

It wasn’t until I was 30 years old, and worked at a Baptist Preschool, that The Word of God was opened unto me.

I had a Bible my mother gave me, when I got married, and began to seek somewhat. Hunger pains began to roil within me.

It wasn’t until I was 40, and went back to teaching, that I realized that I was really making a difference. There was something/someone within me, guiding me.

Then at 50…YOU EXPLODED UPON THE SCENE! With all of the spiritual experiences, with which you blessed my friend Gracie and I. My life’s vision became somewhat surreal. SOMEONE WAS GUIDING ME BIG TIME! 

As I began to journal, blog, and write my book,

THE ERSTWHILE ACORN , I realized that it was…NOT ME… doing the writing.  It was THE HOLY SPIRIT!

WHEW! As I write now, I know that you directed me to do so.

LOL! Once in a Bible study, I asked, why would He chose me to do this? Some one answered from Isaiah 55: 9  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts, declares The Lord.”

Well alrighty then!  The realization hit me…The Holy Spirit is God indwelling me! WOW!

ABBA, I am yours, and pleased to do your will.

Thank you for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: I know what is going on behind the scenes. Yes, we are in the last days. The Holy Spirit indwells you, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The Spirit prays for you and intercedes for you before my throne.  He is The Counselor, who will guide your life to holiness and deflect your sinful nature.

PRAY: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. O God, who taught the hearts of the faithful, by the light of The Holy Spirit, grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
