Value of Concentration: He infuses my mind for direction.

Memory Verse: Infuse my mind, Holy Spirit, and guide me.

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

This morning as I remember the wisdom and guidance of my granny, I am sipping a huge glass of orange juice, mixed with a dash of cranberry juice, over crushed ice. She’d laugh and say, “Now there’s a Cup of Fancy!  All of that vitamin C will perk you up, and open your mind to receive God’s blessings!”  “If you’ve got a problem at school today, lay it at Jesus’ feet, and He’ll guide you through it.”Trust me, the Old Timers new their herbs and remedies.

The shades of greens and warm cream colors remind me a lot of road signs that direct us this way and that. However, if you use them in some sort of décor, they would  gently effect your home with a feel good style.

Funny how The Holy Spirit guides me to write. I just went to the dictionary in the back of my Bible. WOW! In Psalms alone, check out the following scriptures:

Psalm 25:5..guide me in your truth and teach me.

Psalm 43:3 …let them guide me.

Psalm 48:14… He will be our guide even to the end.

Psalm 67:4 …and guide the nations of the earth.

Psalm 73:24…you guide me with your counsel.

Psalm 139:10 …even there your hand will guide me.

This is perfect proof; if you fill your mind with HIM… HE WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY.

My personal example: I married in ‘72..taught for 3 years as an Elementary Art Teacher, was home 5 years having babies, suffered horrific postpartum depression, then started rebuilding my life by teaching preschool.

With my OCD, I was constantly calling out,”What do you want me to do; should I get re-certified?”

One morning while prepping for my preschool class, I heard God within my spirit, loudly.” You can teach a K-3 in a heartbeat. Go back to school!” I took my first class the summer of ‘88. In ‘90 I returned to my school district as a Kindergarten Teacher. By ‘95, I’d earned my M.Ed. I retired in 2014 after teaching 30 years.

In the scriptures it says,”God uses all things to work out for good.” During my darkest days, He revealed himself to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe that I would ever become Kindergarten Teacher.

Only you, ABBA, could have guided me so directly, then allowed things to fall into place, so easily.

Praise you, Father for reminding me always,”The Battle is MINE!”

Thank You, Father for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: Once you open your mind, heart and soul to Me, I can begin to rev up your engine and set you on a road to recovery, guidance, and create a plan to redirect your life…. be it a career/educational choice, a marriage or divorce,  an addiction, or a relationship; I am the Caption of your ship.  I will get you to your destination if you ANCHOR TO ME!

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s mind plans his way. But the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.

Col 2:2-3 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Isaiah 33:6 He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
