Good Morning, ABBA,  Father,

On this beautiful August morning, “I’m Chilling with You.”

Lavender Iced Tea hits the spot this morning, for My Cup Of Fancy. It’s the best…especially when you add a dash of lemon and sweetener.

Oh! The perfect place to be chillin is at the beach; laying in the sun, as you listen to the waves roll across the sand.  There’s something about the rolling surf, the sounds, that bring one to total relaxation.  However, most of us only experience that one week per year, if we’re lucky.

How can I chill with you ABBA?  I’m so busy with work, kids, sports, dinner, life in general.

After 35 years in a classroom, I’ve earned my daily luxury. Nevertheless, I created my “God Space,” where I could chill with You, whenever I had time to breathe and “Be Still.”

My perfect time for chillin and listening for your guidance, was usually on a Sat. morn.  I was 50, before I learned about this gift, through my best girlfriend Gracie.

Now I’m on the porch; sipping my iced tea, my candle is lit, the pups are at my feet……and…. my trickling water fountain brings me the sounds of surf and sea.

What’s so fun?  You’ve taught me that I can chill with you, anytime, anyplace, anywhere. Seriously? There’s many an eve that, I was waiting in the car for football practice to end. I was either in my daily devotional, journaling, or seeking You through Your Word.

Some of my lifetime friends were made through my kids sporting activities. So goes the story of Sue and Linda, whom God refined into His Fearless Faith and Extravagant Grace. 

It was Gracie who taught me how to chill with you. We were both raised within legalistic denominations Oh Yuck!  It was chillin that taught me how to build a loving, trusting relationship with You.

I praise You ABBA, for teaching me how to rest, relax, and find the time to spend with You.. Thank You for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: Jeremiah 33:3 Call on Me, and I will answer you, and show you wonderful and amazing things, you do not know.  My Little One, it is during this precious time that you spend alone with Me, that I reveal Myself to you in ways, that are unbeknownst to mankind.  Hook with Me.  Chill with Me.  Be My Best Fiend.
