Memory Verse: Christ holds me, as I fall.

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

I am so excited! This is the first morning, that I am out writing on my big, sunny, country porch. How appropriate; it is Passion week. We recall the passion of Jesus Christ, my Savior.

During Lent, the Stations of the Cross are often recited within the realm of the Catholic Church. As a
nondenominational Catholic, I sometimes say the prayers at home, in my “War Room;” the place for just God and me.

During the Stations, there is a prayer reading for each time Jesus fell and stumbled on the way to the cross.

You were in such a weakened condition, the Roman soldiers pulled Simon of Cyrene, to carry your cross to Golgotha.

How often I stumble. I sin within the realm of my thoughts, words, and actions. All of the trauma that we, as a family, have experienced within the past two years, has been unbearable at times. However, it is you, Lord, who has carried us to the heights, and will restore “what the locusts have stolen.” Book of Joel.

However, through the blood sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, there is new life, and HOPE.

Just as Jesus won the battle over sin and death; the Holy Spirit will carry my family across the finish line. I’ve assured my son;”On the other side of Job, the Blessings will be so vast, you won’t be able to count them.” Why? It is due to the fact that he was faithful, and allowed God to carry him.

Just as a Father picks up a fallen child, dusts him off, and sets him onto the road of recovery, you, Father, follow the same pattern.

ABBA, as I see someone else stumble today, allow me to be the one to give the godly hand, to lift that person out of their problems. I ask for your wisdom and the correct words; may I reflect your presence this day.

Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: I AM YOUR SAFETY NET! As you stumble, fall, and come to me with many issues, I am there to catch you. As an oak tree is rooted deeply in the ground, stay rooted within my Word. One word or one sentence can transform your thought pattern. My Word can teach you how to pick yourself up, after you fall. Remember, you are my child. You are Mine. I love you.
Your,
ABBA, Father

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord, and he will sustain you.

Psalm 18:29 With your help, I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.

Hebrews 3:1 Therefore holy brothers, who share in heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

Psalm 105:4 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face, always.

Psalm 37:23-26 If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his right hand. I was yound and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, or their young begging for bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.
