As I watch the sun rise, my fancy tray, teapot, and cup decorate my porch table; along with a display of daisies, and purple roses to brighten my day. I’m drinking lemon/lavender tea this morning, with a hint of sweetener.
How I love spending this special time together; just the two of us. There are so many things you reveal to me, as I read your Holy Word. It’s amazing how you speak to my spirit, as I become still and listen.
So many young mothers are caring for children, or are out the door to work first thing in the morning. That was my story for many years. It’s hard for them to find the time to “Share their Cup of Fancy,” with you on a daily basis.
The greatest reality with which you blessed me: I am whiter than snow because of Grace. Christ paid for my sins….all of them.
In my young, adult life, I was not proud of the sins of my youth. However, I lived in constant fear: if I forgot to confess a serious sin, would I make it to heaven?
WHEN GRACE ENTERED MY LIFE…..I was assured of heaven. The first time that I read Romans, I was in awe of your love, forgiveness, and the promise of heaven.
The three colors that I’ve chosen for this day, represent my cleanliness of spirit. The purple roses: they
represent royalty. I am the daughter of the King. This is how you see me, Abba. How do I know this? You have assured me: He who calls on the name of the Lord….SHALL BE SAVED.
I WAS 50 YEARS OLD WHEN 9/11 HIT THE USA. I recall, as people jumped from the towers, many on the
streets called out,”Call on THE NAME OF JESUS!” In seconds, they could experience the beatific vision of heaven.
Salvation is so simple: believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, died on the cross for our sins, and rose on the 3 rd day. WE ARE RIGHTEOUS BY FAITH!
As I go about my busy day, whether it’s at work, school, home, or caring for others, allow me to feel your presence. I will be in perfect peace, no matter the circumstance, knowing that you are with me. I love you, Abba. Thank you for blessing me this day.
Psalm 51:7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me and I will be whiter than snow.
Isaiah 1:18 “Come let us reason together, “says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
Romans 8:1-2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus, the spirit of life, set me free from the law of sin and death.
