There are many promises within your Holy Word. Many have been fulfilled, and more are yet to come. Throughout my study, The Book of Psalms has really held my heart. Between Chapter 119-124 there are 13 promises.
Each time I turn to Psalms, you bless me with your favor. Your promise and encouragement carry me through my trials and tribulations.
There are so many common promises within society that one needs to reflect upon.
*The promise to a spouse and within marriage is to love, be loyal, and be a true partner throughout the years.
*Once you become a parent, the promises that need to be dealt to a child can be overbearing, if you’re not prepared.
*Physical, moral, and spiritual nurturing fit the bill, as a godly parent. The reason there is so much dysfunction among children today, is because parents have not kept their godly promises and duties.
*Promises within the workplace are often broken.
*Promises within relationships often fall apart, at the first sign of trouble.
However, as I ready myself to go out the door, my day holds Promise. You have promised to never leave me nor forsake me. You walk with me, nurturing me. My thoughts, words, and actions will be controlled by The Holy Spirit.
As I surround myself with the color plum, either in clothing or décor, may I self-reflect about the promises I will make. Coconut white may be used to represent nurturing, and holding true to promises made.
Thank You, Father, for the greatest promise of all, Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through his life, death and resurrection, we have been given eternal life. Amazing Grace; salvation is so simple. “He who calls upon the Name of the Lord..WILL BE SAVED! Thank you, for blessing my day.
Isaiah 35:3-4 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady thy knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts,”Be strong, do not fear; your God will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will save you.
Psalm 18:18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place. He rescued me because he delighted in me.
Psalm 119:38 Fulfill your promise to your servant so that you may be feared.
Psalm 119:41 May your unfailing love come to me, O Lord, your salvation according to your promise.
Psalm 119:58 I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
Psalm 119:148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.
