Christmas Music and readiness for the holidays are everywhere. School and church programs, shopping, baking, Caroling, writing cards; all of these are holiday preparations. However, we need to truly prepare our hearts to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior.
As I drink my Cup’O Fancy this morning, I drink in the love, care, and caresses of a loving Father; my heavenly Father who will neither leave me nor forsake me.
I could never sit on the lap of my earthly father without being fearful (A believer, but with a severe mental illness.)
It was not until I met my friend Gracie, and discovered, that I wanted what she had; a loving relationship with the
Triune God.
She gave me my Bible on Sept 30,1998. Inside it reads; The beginning of our “F and you (fun) filled journey to become the women God wants us to be. Happy Birthday a bit early.”
It was my birthday…so to speak. God began His second session of my recreation on that eve. He loved me and cared enough to bring me “The one and only friend that has never left me for 40 years.”
Each time we write, text or talk, we greet each other with the following:”GIRLFRIEND, YOU ARE THE BEST!”
The above colors remind me of our friendship.
She taught me how to spend time with You. She taught me how Your Word was a lamp unto my feet. LOLOL My laugh to her; “You taught me that the Word is ‘THE TRANSFORMER; MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!’”
Back then, we were two little nuts, searching for The Tree of Life.
Father, thank You for the love and care with which I am blessed through Your Holy Word.
Help me to pass on Your love and care to others.
Thank You, ABBA for blessing me this day!
