Memory Verse: ABBA, Fill the dull ache in my soul…and fill me with JOY!

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

As the sun is shining brightly today….so is my JOY!

The cool morning breeze flows through my porch, as I spend my precious time with you, ABBA.

My palette of colors reflects that emotion, as well as my Cup of Fancy (I Love Lemon/Mint Iced Tea).

Joy comes to us in many forms: nature, family,  children, relationships, careers, homes, entertainment, accomplishments.

However, what is true joy?

We have all had many dull aches within our lifetimes; physical, mental, emotional  ….but what about the dull ache deep within our souls?  For example, when there is a loss of a loved one, a divorce, or the breakup of a relationship that makes you feel unloved and worthless.

As I was watching a news program this past weekend, one of the woman hosts made the following statement.

“I’ve had enough therapy.  I’ll have to figure out my own happiness.”  Good luck with that!

There is only one way to get through your grief…ache….sorrow….whatever you want to call it. Therapy? Yes, Jesus Therapy.

Ask yourself this question; what is the basis of therapy? Psychological skills that help people renew their minds.

However, ABBA…You taught me a huge lesson. My mind, my emotions, and my happiness was renewed by one thing….THE WORD OF GOD.

Once I began to seek You…YOU FOUND ME!

It’s something one cannot fully explain to someone else. As the Holy Spirit takes over one’s mind….and one’s spirit…there is a realization that comes upon you. GOD LIVES WITHIN ME?!!!! 

Praise you Father for teaching me the following:  I am the righteousness of God, through Christ Jesus. Please carry me throughout this day. Assure me of your peace and joy…no matter my circumstances.

MY CHILD: Romas 12:2 Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. My loving child, no one can relate the experience to you, until you feel me touching your heart. When you get into my Holy Word, you will read a certain scripture. Suddenly, a truth will jump out to you that will change a thinking habit and OMG!!!!  Little by little…you are gaining the mind of Christ.  Keep on this path, and day by day, I will be renewing your mind.
