Memory Verse. Quench the Thirst of my Soul, O Lord.

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

It is a gray, cold January morning. However, the “Light Of Your Love,” surrounds me. I got up early and started on dinner. The house is filled with the aroma of cinnamon and apples, as an apple dumpling is baking in the oven. My recipe is super easy.

No, ladies, I only bake on occasion. Who has time for that, unless you’re retired? Which I now have been retired from my teaching job of 30 years, since 2014.

I have crockpot steak simmering. Later I’ll make some mashed potatoes, add some green beans, and we have a feast!

My description of our meal may make you hungry. However, being thirsty… goes right along with it.

Have you ever got an OCD thought in your mind like the following?:
*Gotta have that Coke or Iced Tea
*Gotta have that Zero candy Bar (Fav)
*Gotta have that pizza
*Gotta have the fix……hope it’s not drugs or alcohol for you, my brother or sister. That only numbs your pain.

Jesus teaches us to drink freely of “The Living Water,” that only He, as The Son of God, can provide.

It makes me sad…because I was there.

There were many holes in my heart, from not having a loving father, and being raised within domestic violence.

When I got married, my husband fell off of his white horse very quickly. I thought that he was supposed to fill the holes within my heart. WRONG! Only God can fill those holes; not drugs/sex/food/a baby out of wedlock ,or your husband.

He came with enough emotional baggage of his own, that his mother and aunt dealt him. Took a lot of years for both of us to work through it together. A young millennial chick would have bolted immediately. Our faith and true love kept us as ONE!

I wanted emotional love, words, hugs.. He never got it as a child..ever!!!!! Therefore, it took me a while to teach him.

When Jesus says,”Drink freely from the water of life,” he means literally…drink in The Word of God.

Only He can quench your thirst, your yearning; He can turn it into a craving for his presence to live within you. Memorize scripture verses, or create your own Memory Verses, as I have done.

Allow him to fill you to the brim. It will happen..trust me…when you build a relationship with HIM! Your thirsts and cravings will disappear. Open yourself to a new diet and thirst quencher…Jesus Christ through his Living Word.

Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: The curse upon the world brought pain and suffering to mankind. Often, emotional pain is far worse than physical pain. It builds into depression and mental disorders if not attended to. Drugs/sex/alcohol/porn/food/political and media lies/immorality/abortion: You get the picture. All of these sins create caverns of pain, that destroy the souls of mankind. Sweet babies that are born out of wedlock: that child is not going to fill your need. That child will repeat your action. Jesus says,”Come to me all who are weary, burdened, and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” ….AND …Peace beyond understanding will fill the holes in your personality and emotions. Its all about RELATIONSHIP WITH ME. I am the only ONE… who can quench the thirst of your soul. Breathe in my Word…drink In, My Beloved, and be filled to the brim.

Rev.21:6 He also said to me,”It is done! I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty, I will give water, free of charge, from the spring of the water of life.”

Col 1:27 To them God has chosen, to make known among the Gentiles, the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you…THE HOPE OF GLORY.

Isaiah 12 :3 Therefore, you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.
