DECEMBER 20

Value of Concentration: He is the gift that keeps on giving.

Memory Verse: Praise you, ABBA…for Christ Our Savior!

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

It’s five more days til Christmas!

Colored lights twinkle everywhere, hailing the birth of your Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Right now I’m bundled within our cozy farmhouse. My delicate teapot of violets and greens, adorns my table, as I sip my Cup Of Fancy. Constant Comment Hot Tea, fills Granny’s China Tea Cup with its cinnamon delights.

There are blizzard conditions outside, with subzero temperatures.  My farmer just went out to feed the cattle, dressed in his Nanook of the North garb.

Fifty years ago, when we first got married, we were as  poor as church mice.  Until my farmer got his first crop out, we had $7.00 left, after our bills were paid each month.

My 1890’s farm house was …NOT….cozy, back then. Until 2012..we lived in it, and remodeled it….room by room. To get to this point in my life, I’ve weathered many storms, and been through many emotional blizzards.

As a couple, we KNOW…WHAT HARDSHIP IS.

Through all of the ins and outs within our marriage, it was our faith that carried us. We knew, that with you guiding us, we would survive, and grow in love together.

When I look at all of the colors of red, white, and green that decorate my home, I contemplate the following:

*Red-ABBA…You gave the greatest gift of love to the world, your Son Jesus Christ…He shed His blood for our salvation.(John 3:16).

*White-The Holy Spirit, who came to dwell within us after Jesus ascended to heaven, is the gift that keeps on giving.  He is God within us.

*Green-Represents resurrection and new life.

This Christmas season, take a deep look at yourself and your family. Cherish your loved ones..for who they are. Become a light, within their darkness. Lead them to You, ABBA.

Once they see you leading a godly life, they’ll want what you have.

As the birth of your son comes near, I praise you, Father, for the celebration of salvation and eternal life. I praise you, ABBA, for the gift that keeps on giving.

I have an acquaintance who was quite a wild child in his day. One Christmas Eve, he received Christ, as his Lord and Savior.  He is a totally different person, and the Light of The Holy Spirit shines within him.  I praise you, ABBA for such convictions upon one’s spirit.

Thank You, Father, the burning love within me, provided by your Holy Spirit. Thank You for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: During these cold winter days,  I want you to celebrate the wonder of The Word Incarnate….The Prince of Peace. I loved mankind and created the world for my glory.  Out of unconditional love, I had no choice but to send my son…both God and man, as a blood sacrifice.  Humanity has a hard time understanding what the realm of heaven demands. However, I have given mankind My Holy Word, which is eternal truth.  Live in my love and peace.
I love you,
Your,
ABBA, Father

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

1 John 4:15-16 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him, and he is in God. And so we know and rely on the love of God, He has for us.  God is love.  Whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in him.

Deut. 33:27  The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Psalm 13:5  But I trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation.
