Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

The denomination in which I was raised, placed a lot of guilt on a young child. I can remember saying to God,” So I’m not worthy …AGAIN?”  IT WAS A NEVER ENDING BATTLE.  Back in the day, God forbid you’d forget to confess a sin.  I was an excellent student; therefore, I took all of their teaching verbatim.

After 12 years of schooling, I took a huge break, from all of that mess. I prayed, I loved the God I knew; however, I kissed the legalism goodbye.

During college, God showed up three times in a huge way; saving me from an horrific accident,  the day I met my husband, and the freedom I felt, with my college room mate, in a Methodist Church Service.

The sermon was from the Book of Romans. The topic revolved around the following subject: we are righteous through our faith. Grace and God’s forgiveness cannot be earned. He paid for our sin once and for all. All we need to do is accept Christ.

It opened a door for me, and eventually I got there; however, it took me until I was 50 years old to “Get Grace.”

There is a song “I’m So Blessed,” by Cain. The joy it brings to my soul!!!  The first time I heard the lyrics, tears came rolling! “On my best day, I’m a child of God..on my worst day..I’m a child of God..and everyday is a good ay…and You’re the reason why!”

I’m YOUR DAUGHTER…and I am righteous by FAITH!

Father, through some Christian media, open the eyes  and hearts of the Unbelievers. How anyone goes through this life, without you, is beyond me.

We all have our stories; however, even in the dysfunction, I was raised with Faith.

Praise You, ABBA, for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, for our salvation.

Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: Yes, You are my child, my daughter and heir to the kingdom of heaven. Right now, your earthly mind can’t comprehend; however, you believe it through FAITH.  It is your FAITH ALONE that claims you as my righteous one.
I am not a God of guilt and punishment. Once you claim me as your personal Savior…you are to REST IN ME. YOU ARE MINE. What the world wants you to forget: I thirst for you, as well. John 3:16 says it all.

Eph. 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self…created to be like God in the true righteousness of holiness.

1John 3:2 Beloved now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when he is revealed, we shall be like Him, as He is.

Romans 8:17 If we are his children then we are his heirs also; heirs of God, and fellow heirs with Christ. We share his inheritance with him….. just as we are to share his suffering if we are to share his glory.
