YEAH RIGHT!!

When I’m feeling ill, and there isn’t a pill, talk to the Lord and just chill.

James 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me, you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Sometimes that’s all a person can do. Sorrrreeee, Lord. I don’t consider it joy! When we’re sick, we know that we have to take our meds, and come out on the other side. With lots of TLC and patience, we just have to wait it out.
However, sometimes it’s a long process. What if it’s a chronic illness…..and you don’t know the outcome? Pray, trust, be strong, and believe.
Sometimes it’s a diagnosis that we have to live with. Once you know your weakness, you accept it, become stronger, and work your way around it.
My sister’s cancer returned after 5 years last fall. However, she’s a fighter! With chemo and radiation, she is doing well…for now.
Last Jan. I wouldn’t have given you a plug nickel for her life. I figured there was no way she could survive. Well, now she’s out and about.
Last Sept. I was down for the count for 6 weeks. I was heavy into my part time job, and my allergies were out of control. Whenever I get a cold/virus, it goes right to my bronchial tubes.
I had 2 trips to Urgent care, one trip to family doc, and another to my allergist. This winter I had amazing results.
HEAVENLY FATHER: There is no joy in illness. The joy comes from the peace and strength I receive, as you carry me through the entire mess. Father I praise you for holding me on your lap, when I’m too weak to carry on.
In Jesus Precious Name I Pray. Amen
