Spolight 4 Learn

PS 78:1-4 O my people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old-what we have heard and known, what our fathers have taught us. We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His powers and wonders He has done.

Proverbs 8:10 (Speaking about wisdom) Choose instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold.

There are many ways to learn. College is not for everyone. However, everyone needs education past high school. Everyone needs a trade.

I believe that other than my faith, my parents gave me the urgency of an education. In every way, shape, and form, learning was a must. As my husband and I both placed upon our sons; you have no choice but to become a winner.

In first grade, it dawned on me that I was smart. I was a leader.

I’m a right-brained learner: Literacy, writing, history, language, art, dancing, music, and great

communication/people skills. Math and science (YUK!) is not my forte: to each his own.

I am an avid reader. At age 10, my youngest son said to me,” Is there ever a time that you don’t have a book in your hand?” Whenever I’m on the couch watching TV, I’m either reading or writing. Yes, women multitask.

When one becomes full of knowledge, you can’t wait to share it. Thus, I became a teacher.

Another amazing way to learn is through GOD”S WORD. It is our outline for life. Once you really get into it, He will teach you amazing and wonderful things you do not know.

Once we get to heaven, we will be learning for eternity. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE!

HEAVENLY FATHER: Encourage my readers to become life-long learners. May your Holy Word inspire them to reach out to others to enlighten them?
