Memory Verse: Breathe…slow down…rest in Him…one day at a time.

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

This day is going to be a good day of rest for me. Not too much on my agenda; lunch with Girlfriends.

My palette floods me with the colors that so fill my soul, and tell the story of my life.

Sipping on my Cup of Fancy (Heath Bar Decaf..splash of cream) I recall how God recreated me in my book 

THE ERSTWHILE ACORN.

Being an artist, I somewhat aligned myself with Picasso, in relation to colors. My youth was a Blue Period. 

As I began to heal from postpartum depression, colors of verdant green flooded my life. Jesus walked me through his green pastures; I began to heal and rest.

Finally, God anointed me with purple; his color of royalty. I became his daughter; now I rest in him.

Last winter was a very difficult 2 months. I had foot surgery, gum surgery, and arranged to see a new back doctor.

With the breath of spring on the rise, warmth, color and sunlight filled my spirit with joy. Physically I was on the train to healing. With rest and a lot of R and R… I learned to re-evaluate my life.

At 75, I finally realized that physically, mentally and emotionally, I no longer had the stamina to accomplish what I once did. I had to take time during the day to allow myself to rest.

Dear Reader, learn to take one day at a time.  By starting your day with The Lord for 15 minutes, will set you up for a profitable day.

You must learn to cease striving. Once you learn to carry The Lord with you throughout your day, and lean on him for guidance, then you will find rest for your soul.

I praise you, Father for enlightening my spirit.

MY CHILD: Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle of and lowly in heat, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. I am the only way to spiritual rest.

So many fill their bodies and minds with drugs and alcohol to numb themselves from the pain, that the world places upon them.

Come to me. Surrender to me. I AM THE ONE that will fill your soul and give you rest.
