Surround yourself with those, light of heart. ….Sue’s Granny

I surround myself with people who make me laugh. OMG! When I think of the zaniness of my girlfriends…. It’s over the top. Here’s some of the things…crazy things we’ve done:

  • Went to many events and teas wearing red hats.
  • Celebrate birthdays together.
  • Went to Myrtle Beach. We had our pics taken, wearing long shirts. While walking together we all looked as if we had our 20-year-old bodies wearing bikinis.
  • Christmas shopping trips
  • Movies and dinner.
  • Unconditional love and support for one another.
  • Bible studies and Women of Faith Events

However, within all of these activities, we shared a great deal of Christian Spirit and laughter. We laugh and shed tears….together. Our love and support for one another is amazing. Remember, to have great relationships, you have to put yourself out there. Be a friend and give yourself away.

Anytime I’m with little ones, I’m in heaven. I get to love, play, and make them laugh. That’s why I taught Kindergarten. When they laughed, they loved you. When they loved you, they listened and learned.

There was this one sweet little guy… One morning he came in the room singing, ”I’m walking on sunshine.” Therefore, every morning as he walked in the room, I sang it to him. The entire class heard it and it lightened everyone’s day.

My sweet farmer has the craziest sense of humor. He is the biggest tease in the world. Yesterday, we were caring for our twin grandsons. I never laughed so hard in my life. They were on the floor with Grandpa, riding piggy -back, and oh, how he teases them!

We painted, drew dinosaurs, read, played games, and did bubbles outside. Grandpa and I were exhausted when we got home, but it was worth it.

When you’re looking for a marriage partner, make sure that the person has a great sense of humor.

If you can’t laugh together and at each other, your marriage will never survive.

I have walked away from friendships that were dysfunctional and became, ”a downer” to my spirit. When a relationship is detrimental to your spirit and well being, God says, ”It’s ok to walk away.”

So my friends, when it comes to creating friendships/relationships, make sure that you share the same values, morals, and they make you laugh!

PS 144:15 Happy are the people whose God is The Lord.

Love,

Granny
