Value of Concentration: Being a Disciple of Christ

Memory Verse: As a Disciple of Christ, many see Jesus, through me.

Good Morning, Abba, Father,

As a Disciple of your Son, Jesus Christ, I must live according to your precepts.  As I spend time with You this morning, my Cup of Fancy is Pumpkin Spice Decaf, along with a Cinnamon Scone.

Perhaps one could wear the color red, or use it in a craft or decoration today. It would help one to visualize the love, courage, and compassion that is necessary to be a disciple.

The word “Disciple,” is rooted in the word,”Discipline.”

The color Tricorn Black reminds me of the personal power, dedication and strength that it takes to be a follower of Christ.

Often times, when life is rough, or I am helping another, my “Discipline Through Christ,” leads me to a whole new level of peace, calm and emotion.  That is you, Holy Spirit transforming and directing my mind.

“Life is not a cup of tea;”…LOLOL…However, spending time with You, along with my Cup of Fancy can be a blessing, and make life doable. 

I have to discipline myself in so many ways; even finding the time to blog…as You ordered me to do. Trust me….Sue would never had any idea how to bring this about; but You Abba, lined up all of the people to make this happen.

May my life be a model of Christ. May my love and compassion for others, reflect Christ’s love for me.

Teach me, Father to think of others, before myself.

Thank you, Father for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: If any of you have watched the TV Series THE CHOSEN….you have visualized how difficult it was to become one of the 12 Apostles. All of them were martyred for The Faith except for John.

However, anyone who receives , Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, becomes an Apostle.

Many can have a discipleship, as they work actively at home, at work, at school, and within their community.

Know that I smile upon you, as you live for me, sharing the Fruits of The Spirit.

Matt. 28:19-20  “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them everything I have commanded you..And surely I am with you to the end of the age.”

John 13:35 By this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Acts 11:26 So for the whole year, Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
