Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

Rain is coming.  I can feel it in the air. The ground needs to be softened, so that the planting of the crops can be resumed.

This morning my Cup of Fancy is Mocha Chocolate Almond. I need something to warm the soul, as I spend time with You.

It is a quiet morning.  I absolutely love to be on the porch as the rains are coming across the fields.  Not everyone gets this pleasure.

We have all written love letters.  We bear our souls in love and friendship; relating our innermost emotions.

Have you ever thought about what a Love Letter from God would look like?

Well, He would begin with…”My Beloved.” 

In his letter, he would expound upon the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for our salvation(John 3:16).

Next, He would glorify Himself, by describing the gifts of nature; then continue on to the realm of eternity.

However, in the Memory Verse, I beseech Him to give me the grace TO REFLECT HIM.This my friend denotes how we love our neighbor.

There is a commercial on UP TV. ….10 pictures of people that society would say “OMG!” Then it says “Love thy neighbor.”  “JESUS….HE GETS US!”

If you have watched any of THE CHOSEN, the essence of Matthew the Tax Collector, was written beautifully.  He was such an outcast from his own people, that he was transported in a dung wagon, with a tarp to cover him.

Jesus asked us to love the outcasts; to reflect the love that He had for the Matthews and Mary Magdalenes.

My greatest joy, was reflecting Jesus in my classroom. I couldn’t pray with them but I did the following: 

* As we were working on something I’d look at a student and ask,”How come I love you so much.”  Then I’d quickly reply,”Because God made you special.”  Often I’d look at a student and ask, “Jonny, Whose special?” Jonny would reply,”I AM!”  I’d ask,”Can you tell me why?  Eventually by the end of the year they would be able to tell me about some of their talents, since I praised them for that talent all year.

* After the Pledge of Alliegiance, we would say the Kindergarten Pledge.

I am the Best.

Just as good as the Rest.

I AM SPECIAL…and Mrs. Cutler loves me.

It brought such joy to me and my students, because I created a Love Language between the two of us.

Father, I am so blessed with the gifts you have given me. Continue to teach me how to reflect your love.  Thank You for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: As you reflect Me, you are using the Fruits of The Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Use these to write your love letter to your neighbors.  Treat them as you would want to be treated.  Remember, if you are suffering from depression, when you get busy, nd give yourself to others, reflecting my love, the focus is taken off of your illness. Trust Me.
