Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

As I look out over this beautiful cold (10 degrees) December morning, I am preparing to spend my time writing, listening, and seeking your word.

Sipping my Cup of Fancy, (Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate), lighting my Evergreen Christmas Candle, and surrounding myself with my Bibles and journals, sets the stage for a good bit of blogging.

How does one get their name written in the Lambs Book of Life? It’s simple.  Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and He will give you the pen.

How does one get a glimpse of heaven? The number one attribute is to look at God’s creation.

Being an artist, colors and textures have always mesmerized me. Blues, greens, purples, reds, yellows; wow what an artist is our God!

The beauty of the skies and landscapes..as the song says…purple mountains majesty; these are the things that denote the promises to come.

We’ve all had situations, in which we experience the supernatural: the birth of a child, a miraculous healing, a family celebration.

Jesus promised us that, ”In my Father’s home are many mansions.  I go to prepare a place for you and to receive you unto myself.”

God’s Holy Word gives the best glimpse of heaven.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes. “Eye has not seen, nor ear has not heard, what awaits those who love the Lord.

I cannot tell you how touched I have been by the series “THE CHOSEN.”

As I saw the true love of Christ, as he healed the leper in season one…I wept.

Over the years, during many prayer sessions, I was told to,”Seek Him, as did the woman with the issue of blood.”

In season 3.. the woman keeps saying, “If I can just touch his garment, Ill be healed.”  That was me.

As Jesus called her daughter, I wept and wept, because the 12 years of stupid legalism, stuffed down my throat, no longer existed.

THAT WAS MY GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN! I was under Grace….not the LAW!

I was raised very legalistic in the 1950’s. I was scared of that Jesus.  All that God the Father guy wanted to do was zap me with a cattle prod…if I forgot to confess a sin, in the black box.  God help me if I forgot one.

I was never worthy enough, or good enough for him.

I had never opened a Bible…..and had no idea how.

However, I adored the message of Dr. Billy Graham; along with my mother, many times in front of the tv, we were born again.

I didn’t really begin to,”Get It,”….all that Christ had done for me….. until my mind was soaked in The Word. God continues to engage me with spiritual wisdom, each time I immerse myself.

ABBA, You are my hope and my future.. You are my glimpse of heaven.

Praise You, Father, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD:  The words of Jesus, the second person of The Blessed Trinity, state the divine truth:

John 11:25 I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE; He who believes in me, will live, even though he dies; and he whoever lives and believes in Me, will never die.

It is miraculous.  When the spirit leaves the body, the following scripture says it all: “To be absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord.”

Trust Me and always remember….YOU ARE MINE!

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Rev. 21 23-27 The city does not need the sun or moon to shine on it, for the Glory of The Lord give it its light, and The Lamb is its life.  The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth, will bring its splendor into it.  On no day will its gates ever shut, for there will be no night…..nothing impure will ever enter it; only those whose names are written in The Lambs Book of Life.
