Value of Concentration: The Mystery of Faith

Memory Verse:  I Believe The Virgin Birth; Jesus..The Son of God.

Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

This morning, as I was sipping my Cup of Fancy, (Maple Bourbon Decaf..splash of cream), I was watching Dr. David Jeremiah. His movie entitled,” Why The Nativity,” was so touching.

As a mother, now Gramma, I tried to remember what it was like to be 14 years old again…an 8th grader.  Totally innocent.

I tried to put myself in Mary’s place. A young teenager; in love with Joseph; betrothed to him.

A person’s lifespan was 36-40 years old; therefore, they married young. Many women died in childbirth.

Imagine: Mary was most likely in her home, perhaps alone.  Gabriel appears and brings the message, that she is to conceive through the Holy Spirit, and become the Mother of The Son of God. Mary agrees, and salvation history begins.

I assume she went to her parents Ann and Joachim; they were in as much awe as was she.  Nevertheless, they knew that their daughter would never make up such a lie.

She went to Joseph.  He was so distraught, that he was quietly going to divorce her.  However, in a dream…God profoundly revealed to him the truth.

Can you imagine the awe…the god-struck…the numbness… when Joseph came and said,”I know the truth. We will marry soon.”

They had no idea what they were getting themselves into.  They only agreed to the plan, and day by day, they  raised Jesus.

I assume Jesus had other brothers. However, they are barely mentioned in the Bible.

When Jesus was taken to the temple to be circumcised, the high-priest Simeon quoted: now Father, you may take me, for I have seen the Messiah.”

Life went on as normal until Jesus was 12. They found him in the temple, preaching with the elders.

As seen in The Chosen, they weren’t sure how to handle this.”Jesus, help us get through this,” Joseph stated.

I assume that Joseph passed when Jesus was about 20 years old.  Again, it is an assumption.  However, he was not around at the Wedding Feast at Cana.

When Mary asked Jesus for help at the wedding, she began to believe his miraculous powers.  However, she was yet to conceive of the idea of crucifixion and resurrection.

JUST BECAUSE SHE SAID,”YES!”

What has He asked you to do? To what do you need to say,”Yes?”

Search His Holy Word.  Jesus said,”Ask, and you shall receive.”

If you would have told me, when I was 14, that the messed up Little Acorn would be a blogger author…only by HIS INSISTENCE ….I would never have believed it!

Just as Mary said “Yes,” we must all do the same.

What is your service for God?  Ask, and you will receive.  Knock and the door will be opened unto you.  SEEK….AND YOU WILL FIND.  That’s what changed my life.

ABBA, praise you for filling my mind with your thoughts. Thank You, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD: Isaiah….My thoughts are not your thoughts….for my thoughts and my ways are higher than yours. THAT SAYS IT ALL!

You must fill your mind with My Word!  It is the only way to keep your thoughts aligned with mine. That way, the evil one has no chance of allowing his lies to enter.  REMEMBER…I AM IN CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE.  Trust me.

I love you.

Your,
ABBA ,Father

Matt 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which means,”God with us.”

John 10:30  “I and The Father are One.”

Isaiah 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest upon His shoulders; and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

1 John 4:15-16,18 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.  And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him….There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.
