Good Morning ABBA, Father,

How blessed I am this morning that I have the freedom to peruse Your Holy Word! To have my mind and thoughts empowered by Your Holy Spirit is miraculous. The above yellow colors reflect the Joy and Blessings given to us, daily. 

I am a perfect example of becoming a new creation in Christ.  It was The Word, and seeking Him as did the woman with the issue of blood, that transformed me.

Sipping on my Cup of Fancy from Granny’s Teapot(Chocolate Raspberry Decaf) I am looking through one of my favorite reference books. 

The Complete Book of Bible Promises; by Ron Rhodes.

The following are a small compilation of His Promises, that speak of blessings:

*Jer. 17:7 Those who trust The Lord are blessed.

*Psalm 128:1 Those who fear The Lord are blessed.

The Beatitudes

*Matt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit/humble…

*Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

*Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek(Gentle/humble) for they will inherit the earth.

*Matt 5:6 Blessed are those who yearn for righteousness.

*Matt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will obtain mercy.

*Matt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart.

*Matt 9: Blessed are the peacemakers.

*Luke 6:38 God blesses a cheerful giver.

*Matt 10:42 God blesses kindness and charity to children.

*Psalm 41:1-2 God blesses those who help the weak.

Forty-five years ago, God blessed me, as He guided me through postpartum depression.  I had a huge decision to make.  I could either decide, to wallow in my self-pity, or I could make decisions to,”BECOME.”

With medication, counseling, returning to school, for a higher degree, and seeking God with a vengeance, I healed.

As an Educator I began to give myself away in the service of others; not only in my teaching career, but also within my church, community, and boys school/sporting events.  It became quite evident what God was trying to teach me.  BLESSINGS WERE POURED UPON ME, AS I GAVE MYSELF AWAY.

Once God taught me to place my focus in the service of others, my worry of self melted.

How of God is this? Turning on the Christian Radio Station the following song, began to sing to my heart:

ABBA, You are such an amazing God.  Great is Thy Faithfulness. So today, my Friends, ask the Holy Spirit to take charge of your mind and decision making. Your life will never be the same. Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.

MY CHILD:  Blessings come in all shapes and sizes: family members, spouses, babies, careers, friends, homes, churches, colors, tastes, sights, sounds, finances, charity, gentleness, humility, mercy, forgiveness…..I could go on and on.

Your greatest blessings come when you realize that a certain situation, was strictly brought about by Me.  I love it when you are left without words….when you are in awe of a situation….and I hear you cry out,”That was God and God alone that blessed me, and made that happen!” 

I am here, My Child.  I am here to bless you.  You are not alone. I love you.

John 17:20-23 – “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe that You have sent and have loved them as You love Me. I have given them the glory that You have given me, that they may be one as we are one.”

Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

Psalm 34:8 Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in him.
