Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

Emotional upheaval from depression scatters one’s brain. “Father, I want You to act in my behalf, to guide and heal me!”   “I want it now!” These were the words I screamed at You so often, as I was coming out of the darkness from severe postpartum.

ABBA, I remember telling my Farmer,”You know what you’re going to do for your career!”  “I’m a depressed stay-at-home mom: no family, no friends!”

I could have decided to stay in that mind-frame; however, I decided to jump at any chance God brought to me.

* In 1980,I took Tole Painting lessons at the craft store. Being a former Art teacher, I was asked to teach a few classes.

I jumped at the chance (2yrs.)

* In 1981,I was encouraged by a friend to become a preschool teacher at Little School In The Prairie. I jumped at the chance(7yrs.) For 7 years I asked You,”Do You want me to get re-certified?” One morning…outta the blue….You answered me. “You can do a K-3 in a heartbeat; get busy!”

Little by little, step by step, you were rebuilding my life. I dealt with a lot of emotion and constant prayer.

However,  in 1989 I returned to Jonathan Alder Schools, once again as an Art Teacher.

In 1990, my dream was realized. I became a Kindergarten Teacher for 26 years.

There is a reason I love reds as well as purples: colors define one’s character; leadership, passion, get the job done.

You brought the opportunity for me to earn my Masters in Education, and also to become a summer instructor for The Communicate Institute; teaching teachers.

OH ABBA!!!! Through my story, teach the depressed and overwhelmed;”Never Give Up!” I am living proof.

You rescued me! I am a new creation. That person from 40 years ago no longer exists.

Praise You, ABBA, for blessing me this day, and using me for your glory.

MY CHILD: Human nature tells you that your needs, must be met immediately!  However, I don’t work that way. I wait for the right opportunity, the right time frame, and the preparedness of your character. Waiting is difficult, especially as you are going through an illness. In your situation, I was in awe as you sought a deep, personal relationship with Me.  In faith, you reached out, and knew, that through a period of preparation, your heart’s desires would come to pass. Your story teaches many to wait upon the Lord. Never give up; the morning brings the “Sonlight.”
