Good Morning, ABBA, Father,

This morning my Cup of Fancy is my brewed iced tea. I use a combination of Luzianne, mint, lemon, and occasionally I’ll add some lavender.

It’s going to be somewhat of a cool, rainy June day. However, your Word, and spending time with you, warms my heart.

I love to sit on my porch late spring thru early fall, to experience my “God Time.” I love to digest your words and wisdom, and write…write…write.

In my congregation during my youth, there was a great deal of legalism. I had to memorize a lot of prayers, which truly, was good for me. However, I was so blessed with a Mother that taught me to pray from my heart.

I praise you, ABBA….for my mother claimed the truths of Billy Graham. Through his ministry, I learned about THE GOD OF GRACE; totally the opposite of my denomination of rules, some 60 years ago.

LOLOL…Sometimes your humor amazes me…Because the scripture says, “When you seek me, you will find me.” Truth be told….YOU FOUND ME! Once I discovered Your Holy Word, my life changed.

As I surround myself with the above, mentioned colors, I feel the warmth of your love. How blessed I am that I can sit, pray, and converse with my ABBA.

Heartfelt prayer can be worship music, as your driving to work, or prayer journaling. Singing, painting, crafting, doing your daily job, in the Name of Jesus, is heartfelt prayer.

Sit quietly wherever you are, Sit on ABBA’S lap or allow Jesus to place his arms around you. Share your heartfelt needs and concerns.

As you go throughout your day, repeat the memory verse, as a gift to ABBA.

MY CHILD: I take great delight in my children who pray from the heart. The Pharisees were all about pomp and circumstance. Rules and guilt…rules and guilt.. were placed on many in my name. However, my yoke is easy and my burden is light. You know the song,”Let It Go?” That’ needs to be your heartfelt song. The past is gone, and you are a new creation in Christ. When you repent and ask for forgiveness, I see you as white as snow. Take a deep breath. Enjoy your day, and live to touch the lives of others, in the name of Jesus. Remember, YOU ARE MINE. I LOVE YOU.
