As a child, unbeknownst to me, I had inherited some of my earthly father’s bad genetics. My mother always called me “Worry Wart.” That was an understatement. At 10 years old, it led to a dangerous, physical ailment. By the grace of God, I recovered.
Life is a journey. Proverbs states, the Fear of the Lord(knowledge of him) is the beginning of wisdom. No truer statement was made.
As an adult, once I learned of my condition, addressed it medically, and sought God with a vengeance, my life took on an entire new genre. “I Became” far more than I ever dreamed.
I learned to no longer worry. The Holy Spirit taught me to trust, listen, and act upon his Holy Word.
With all of the political disarray in America, one could get caught in a whirlwind of trauma, drama, and worry.
However, The Word has assured me that God is on the throne. My God Squad: my Bible Study group continually supports one another. Sometimes my phone will light up and nine of us keep a prayer surge going. The phone loop of my sisters constant presence of prayer.
I need to learn to let go and let God. I have to take the whirlwind of problems, and crawl upon the lap of Jesus. As He cradles me in his arms, He takes the vial of earthly cares, and melts them within his hands.
Holding me closely, I feel a father’s love and care embracing me. I give the worry and fret to you, Lord Jesus. You are the only one, who can give me true rest and peace.
Thank you, Father, for opening my eyes and heart to your continuous love. Thank You, for blessing me this day.

1Thessalonians 4:15-17 The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first, and in the twinkling of an eye those who remain alive will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
