Spring colors bring hope and possibility. Yellows, are rays of sunshine that set fire to the soul and light your spirit.
One of the words that God whispered into my heart, throughout my life was the following: You are a “Becomer.” Yes, I prayed for guidance. Yes, I made choices to go back to school and rebuild my life….AND YES…I kept my head in God’s Word, in order to find his guidance and wisdom.
One of my favorite books is by John Ortberg: If You Wanna Walk On Water, You Gotta Get Outta The
Boat.
In other words, you just can’t sit around with a “Do Nothing” attitude. You gotta set goals and do the work to make it happen.
In that process, God will never leave you. It is through the wisdom, guidance, and strength of The Holy Spirit…ONLY…. that you will become successful.
If your pride and unbelief in Jesus Christ is your mainstay…get ready for a huge fall. You may be successful
for a time. However, My Granny was correct,”Pride cometh before the fall.” There will come a time when God will bring you to your knees. He will do whatever it takes to take you apart, and put you back together the way He wants you to be to serve and glorify him. He will bring you to himself, one
way or another.
Therefore, you can “Walk On Water.” With GOD….all things are possible. Where will you get the strength to succeed? “I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.”
In Him …ONLY… I live and breathe and have my being. I am nothing, ABBA, without you.
Praise you, Father, for “Great is thy faithfulness.”
Thank You, Father, for blessing me this day.
Matt 14:29-30 Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came towards Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink cried out, “Lord save me!”
Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1 Sam 16:7 “Do not consider his appearance or his height; for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
