Spending time with you, each morning before I begin my day, filters my thoughts, words, and actions to glorify you.

As I sit with my Cup of Fancy, before I begin my day, may your Holy Words set the theme and patterns that occur throughout.

Knowing that you are within me to watch over me, frees my spirit. This day I know;”I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.” LOL! That was the very first scripture that you provided for me to memorize. Fortunately, I found your Word…rather you found me at age 30.

I have been through some major traumas in my 73 years. However, it is your strength and shield that I have found surrounding me. It is definitely,”The Armor of God.”

For someone who is not a Christian, it’s difficult to describe. It’s a strength. It’s a feeling. It’s a hope. It’s an
assurance; that no matter what I am going through…you are carrying me and giving me rest. I feel you surrounding me.

Within the domestic violence in which I was raised, I was taught to react. However, As you began to stream peace, love, and joy into my spirit, you taught me the following; “With a calm and restful spirit; before you react, be exact.”

What a gift, treasure, and blessing it is to know, that you walk with me. If something arises that is difficult , help me to STOP…breathe and asked God to help you. DROP…Ask God to help you drop your anger and anxiety. ROLL…Roll with the punches. Ask God to help you achieve your solution. You are my Shield in all situations.
