Good Morning Abba..Father,

On this cold January morning, the winds are whipping outside. It is cold, dark, and gray. Yet, here I am with my Cup of Fancy…just you and me.

Today I drink in the properties of the color teal. In this insane society I need the calming effects of blue today.

The serenity of the sea envelops me as I choose, at least a little “pop of teal,” on my wardrobe for today.

Abba…Father….Sometimes I just need to be the Little Girl that climbs up on your lap. As Your arms enfold me, I feel safe. Your strength and gentleness fill me with Your love.

Empower me, Father. As I go through my day, I’ll embrace the clarity of thought, and the open communication with others that this color represents.

I will be revitalized and rejuvenated, as you fill me and bless me with the properties of this color.

Keep my mind alert. Help me to become aware of the needs of others. Often, I am so OCD about my own problems, that I fail to consider what is going on in the lives of those around me, at home or in the workplace.

As a problem arises, and I want to respond in an unkindly manner, keep this quote before me:”Before you react, be exact.” Help me not to explode at another person at work or at home; be it a colleague or a family member.

Use me today for your kingdom, Lord. Free me from any anxieties, worries, or trauma that have befallen me, through no fault of my own.

Knowing that you will give me peace and “Clarity of Thought,” to make all decisions today is freedom through You and your Son Jesus Christ. May the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit guide my thoughts this day.

Thank You Father, for holding my hand, as I walk through this day. Thank you for allowing me to crawl upon your lap, as you enfold me with your love. Your Spirit lives in me and will guide me. I will breathe in the peace and calm of the color teal. Thank You, Father for my Blessed Day.

MY CHILD: Give me your every thought and every word this day. Allow my Holy Spirit to control your life. Once you learn to do this, worry and anxiety has no room within your realm of thoughts. Allow my thoughts and words to go before you. Stressful and anxious thoughts come and go throughout the day. By saying the name of “Jesus,” the devil flees; therefore, I have control of your thoughts, not the evil one. Knowing that I am always with you, will help you through the pains and sorrows of this physical world. Know that I am forever with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I love you.
