This is God’s Story… Not Ours!

Deut: 31:8 The Lord Himself goes before you, and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

May 26… My friend’s house was in contract….or so we thought! Praising God! He answered our prayers!

May 27….The buyers inspector came.

My sister/friend has taken such great care of this 50-year old home! Plus, she added a beautiful, huge addition. Not to mention, they have an above
ground pool, which was rebuilt 3 years ago. Also, she added a hot tub.

The buyer’s inspector was severe. Yes, her realtor should have lined up her own inspector, which she now has to do.

May 28, the buyer backs out! Tears! Frustration! Why God? But there’s nothing we can do except pray, keep working on the house, and rework some things with the realtor.

As of Jan 22, 2018, her son was killed in a freak accident. Her husband walks with a walker and is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.

“How much more, Lord?” “How much more can she take?”

She was promised a condo by a friend. However, the friend’s husband has a partner,that needs the condo sold no later than June 1 st .So her dreams of that condo were plummeting.

Here is now the scenario of Faith. “If the house doesn’t sell in time, I’ll move into an apartment, put everything in storage, until another condo opens up in that area.”

The weekend of May 30/31, her daughter’s family came up from North Carolina. Her eldest son and his family came as well. The pool was opened, the house power washed, weeding and rubbish piles burned, and a ton of painting was accomplished. Cox’s Army was in full swing!

This week, she’ll contact the roofing friend, and the heating and cooling contractor.

THIS HOUSE WILL SELL! OUR TIME IS NOT GOD’S TIME! THIS IS HIS STORY!

AND STILL….we can’t wait to see what our God will do !

We are living in expectation! It would take a miracle for this to workout in time.

My friend’s son, who is a devout Christian, commented to me yesterday, ”Remember Susie, Our God is an 11th hour God.”

The ball is in God’s Court: and once again, we wait in expectation. He has the perfect person, the perfect condo, the perfect plan.
