1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 Be joyful always; Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing; fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Choose joy! No matter what you are going through. Choose to make this year one of positive thoughts, prayers, and actions. Choose to be led by The Holy Spirit.
You can sit around and worry, fret, and concentrate on your problems, or you can choose another venue of thought.
No one knows the span of our days on earth. However, it can be our goal to teach and touch as many lives as possible.
One of the greatest wisdoms that God taught me is the following: Once you give yourself away to others..be it your job, family, school, new career, volunteer work etc., you no longer have time to concentrate on, ”Poor pitiful ME!” When I say focus on these points I’m referring for you to become a minister at your job, career, family etc.
My sister is my role model. She has stage four cancer. However, the doctors have given her monthly injections that fill in the holes in her spine.
Thus, she is spending her second winter in Fla., since being diagnosed in 2017. She gives herself away to others. Here is a day in her life:
* Mass daily at 7:30
* Volunteering at the food bank
* Lunch or dinner with friends
* Works on the Bereavement Committee
* Naps daily
* Worked Trick or Treat and Breakfast with Santa at the clubhouse.
SHE IS GOD’S LIL ENERGIZER BUNNY!
Joy and happiness are choices that you need to make! CHOOSE WISELY!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HEAVENLY FATHER: Bless all of my readers. May they choose joy and happiness for the coming year.
In Jesus Name, I Pray. Amen
