FARMERS ON ALERT! RAIN! RAIN! RAIN!

God’s Timing Doesn’t Always Align With Ours!

Isaiah 55:8-9” For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares
The Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the
earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and
my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

Trusting and surrendering to the will of God, is
not an easy pill to swallow. Our farm is a Century
Farm. We married in ‘1972 and have farmed the
land for 47 years. Plus, my Mr. Moo Cow milked
Holsteins for 43 years, before he sold the herd in
’15. He now farms the 300 acres and raises beef
cattle.
Throughout these years, we have almost
experienced, every type of weather known to man.
This rain is killing us right now. My farmer talks
with his buddies everyday about all of the
concerns. Here it is, the first full week of May,
and our fields are soaked. The weather prediction
states that there’s to be more rain next week!
HELP!

As his buddies are freaking out, here’s Mr.
Moo Cow’s reaction:
*We’ve been through this before.
*It’ll all work out. It always does.
*The Good Lord will take care of us. He always
does. Keep the faith and trust.
*There’s no sense in making a fuss about it,
because you can’t change the weather.
*Once we get the seed in the ground, it’ll come up
quickly.
*We’ve had good years, and bad years. It runs in
cycles and eventually it levels out.

  • There’s no one that is more involved with God
than a farmer. I talk with Him every day.
*I DEAL WITH 2 WOMEN: Mother Nature and
you. LOL..And I’ve survived both of you.

As we speak, I’m sitting on the big, country
porch typing. I’m watching him grind feed, and
working on machinery. He’s happy and peaceful. Is
he concerned? Yes! Is he worried? No!
Once he gets going in the fields, he’ll work like
a Trojan, until the job is done. His favorite phrase
is the following: “The work is not over, until the job
is done.”

WE ARE WAITING UPON YOU LORD.
“BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.”
Amen.
