Walter Cronkite…I Miss You!

Eph. 4:15   Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

       I’m a child of the 50’s 60’s eras. Every Night, Walter Cronkite ruled the airwaves.  After I married in’72, I could still hear that electrifying voice of truth and wisdom, resound on our TV channel.

       TRUTH….. You always knew that whatever he reported was Gospel.

      RESPECT… Due to the fact that he was honest and trustworthy, you knew that you were getting quality reporting.

     CHRISTIAN….. He was profound in his faith.  I was 14 when JFK was assassinated. Cronkite was a prolific figure that helped to heal our nation.

NOT SO TODAY…….. All Christian, Conservatives are labeled racist, homophobic, xenophobic and any other phobia they can call us.

       I taught Kindergarten for 30 years. The screaming Liberals (By the way they are paid to disrupt), remind me of some of the little ones that, I had on occasion. They’d throw a temper tantrum and would fall on the floor kicking and screaming. 

   ME? MY REACTION?  I’d just ignore them as I do fake news.

       I DO NOT TALK POLITICS WITH MY FRIENDS…. It only causes dissension in our relationship. So why bother?

SOOOOO…..I only listen to FOX News.

      My sister just said the same thing that my husband and I often comment, ”I don’t belong to this world.”  In fact, those of us who are true Christians definitely don’t.

HEAVENLY FATHER: As I hear from many of my fellow Christians, ”Come, Lord Jesus.” Father send Him soon. AMEN!
