Rejoice

REJOICE!!!!!
He Spoke To My Heart Very Profoundly 46
Years Ago.”.He’s the One!”

Anniversary Dinner at Outback

Habakkuk 3:18 I will rejoice before the Lord. I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign is my strength. He makes my feet like a deer. He enables me to go on the heights.

I do rejoice! I’ve been blessed with a good Christian man for 46 years. However……he’s lucky that I haven’t killed him yet. LOLOL!!
I was at Outback Steakhouse sitting across from a very handsome, white-haired man. To look at him all dressed up, you’d think I married a CEO of a famous company. However, I’m used to seeing him in his jeans, farmers hat, or coveralls covered with farm excrement. LOL!
He’s not familiar with fancy restaurants, technology, and ordering fancy stuff. “I’m a simple man, Mom,” as we laugh together.
I had dated a lot of frogs in college. That’s what I fell in love with; his faith, work ethic, and unconditional love. AND YES…. I haven’t killed him yet.
What took me awhile to realize was that he was not Prince Charming, and he fell off his horse rather quickly ,as reality took over.
He is the CEO of Cremowhey Farm. Here’s my thought…..CEO stands for Cutler Exudes Orneriness……. And does he ever!
After a warm welcome and lots of hugs from manager Ronnie(personal friend…played football with our sons), we were seated.
Making immediate eye contact we started laughing hysterically. “We’ve come a long way from coffee at Frisches every night during college days.”
We didn’t have 2 cents to rub together 46 years ago. How we changed, grew, and went through a lot of hardships together, was forefront in our minds. However, it was unconditional love that kept us together.
We are survivors. Young girls nowadays would never endure what we went through together.
Our one son’s ex was gone only after 11 mos. It’s her loss.
HEAVENLY FATHER: I pray for Godly spouses for 2 of our sons. I praise you for our wonderful daughter-in-law. Father, You created marriage. Help many to see it as a Holy sacrament for two to become One.
In Jesus Name, I pray.
