2 Samuel 22:31 The Word of God is flawless. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him.

LOL! OH REALLY? THAT’S NOT WHAT SISTER MARY NOT SO BRIGHT pounded into me for 12 years.
God’s Grace and freedom are so amazing. Too bad it didn’t soak in until I was 50 years old.
When you hear the Catholic guilt stories, they’re all true.
That was then. This is now. I love my faith. Catholicism has opened up to an entire new level over the past 50 years. Bible studies abound. Pope Francis is a lover of people, not a lover of rules, and neither is Jesus. Neither am I. Grace is freedom.
God bless the priests and nuns back then. Their hearts were in the right place. My childhood pastor Father Tom Devitt, shared my birthday Nov. 12. What a sweetheart and fun-loving Irishman he was!
I also had 2 favorite nuns that really touched me. My 3rd /5th Grade nun Sr. Fidelis was awesome! She was from a very, loving, Italian Family. She was the playground queen and played with us a lot. However, after Vatican II, she left the nunnery and married. I get it.
My 8th grade nun, Sr. Ralph (Raphael) was a gem. Teenage years are tough, and she treated me with such respect. She chose me out of 30 students to be a baptismal sponsor for a first grader. I was so honored.
HEAVENLY FATHER: Thank You for those who gently gave me my faith. May all who become teachers of the faith, teach with love, fun, gentleness, and humor. Let them leave the Little Ones with the impressions that Jesus is loving and kind.
