I Don’t Own My Extended Family’s Problems…
GOD DOES!
Psalm37: 3-4 Trust in The Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in The Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

God has created me to be a mentor..a teacher…a fixer of problems…. A cheer leader for those not knowing where to turn. LOLO!! However, there is a fine line between mentoring and sticking my nose in where it doesn’t belong.
There’s some issues in my extended family, that are breaking my heart. I just want to take a couple of people and shake the “Living Bejeebies Outta Them.”
Yes, I’ve lived a life with a lot of experience and wisdom. However, I can’t take the blinders off of their eyes, only God can. I just want to say to them, “Don’t you realize the pain you are causing to so many? “ The answer… No, they sure as heck are clueless….AND…IN THEIR STUBBORNESS BELIEVE THEY ARE RIGHT IN THEIR BEHAVIOR.
If it upsets me, can you imagine how much it disappoints God? However, He is the one that controls the puppet on the string. He is the one that will make all circumstances fall into place to heal these wounds.
God is the one who is known as The Great Healer,(Jehova-Rapha…Ex.15:26 I am The Lord, Your Healer) not me. I can mentor, but He is the One that does all the work.
So I encourage you, my friends. If you are trying to solve a family issue and they won’t listen to you….LET GO AND LET GOD!

I have a friend, who was widowed a few years ago. She remarried, and the daughter did not approve of the new spouse. Thus, the mother and the new spouse were not invited to the daughter’s wedding. The daughter cut the mother completely out of her life.
Forward a few years. The mother gets a phone call. The daughter is getting divorced. She apologizes to the mom, and said basically, ”I didn’t get it mom, but I do now.” Only God can show them the path.
Heavenly Father: Hear the prayers of those parents, who dutifully pray for their children. We pray that the blinders of faith, truth, and wisdom , be removed from their minds and hearts, and that the truth of the Holy Spirit floods their beings.
In Jesus Precious Name I pray. Amen.
