The Girlfriends were at it again!

Oh my goodness! Did we have fun or what?
Call it our second childhood, or call it whatever you like. We had so much fun on June 20!
Along with all of our masks, make-up, nail polishes and footbaths, we each brought a salad. Mary ordered a pizza, made a dessert and provided drinks.
After saying our blessing, and filling our tummies, we began to orchestrate the afternoon activities. Bella, who is Diane’s 15 year old granddaughter visiting from N.C. commented,” I love spending time playing with you crazies. There’s 4 conversations going on at once, and it’s a challenge to take it all in.” She was appointed make-up artist of the day.
The pictures tell all. I was the foot massage lady and toe painter. Skin care products and masks were flowing, along with pedicures and manicures.
Music, dancing, laughter, stories galore, and preparations for a daughters Oct. wedding, were the order of the day.
We always bring our calendars to plan future activities. Being so excited about upcoming events we planned 2 months of activities, including 2 bridal showers.
HEAVENLY FATHER: Thank You Father for the Blessing of friends. They are my sisters in Christ and the lovers of my soul. Thank you for teaching me that when you give yourself away in love and friendship, the blessings are returned 100 fold.
May the love of our sisterhood reflect the love of Christ for His Church.
