UPLIFT MY CHILDREN, LORD.

The Shepherd will find You.

Isaiah 40:10-11 See, The Sovereign Lord comes with power, His arm rules for them. See, His reward is with Him and His recompense accompanies Him. He tends His flock like a shepherd; He carries the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads those that have young.

If you are a mother, you will do anything to keep your children healthy and safe. You’d give your own life for them, if need be.

If you are a woman of faith, the future of your child’s soul is even more important. Sort of sounds like God’s love for us. Don’t you think?

Our oldest son is married with twin boys. One of his first texts to me after their birth was the following: “Mom, I need a crucifix for their room.”

What makes my husband and I the most proud is the fact that, as a family, they are at 5p.m. mass every Sat.

When I taught the First Communion Class years ago, I told them the following scenario: As you get older, you may question your faith. You may

even be lax and not attend weekly services. However, I truly believe that God will create a circumstance in your life and draw you back under His mantle. Once He has you in His arms, He will never really let go. The sheep know the shepherd, and follow His lead, regardless of their behavior.

HEAVENLY FATHER: Nothing is more important to a mother than her child’s salvation. Take my sons and grandsons under your mantel. Bring them to eternal life and everlasting joy. Amen.
