BEING TAUGHT OBEDIENCE

Psalm 119:35-40 Direct me in the paths of your command, for there I find delight. Turn my head toward your statutes, and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Preserve my life according to your word.

Credit cards can become a nuisance. My man and I try our best not to use them, unless it’s a necessity. God knew exactly what He was doing when I married Mr. Moo Cow. Being married to the simple farmer for 45 years totally changed my paradigm.

Trust me, we worked hard to build a beautiful home. However we did it one step at a time. We had to purchase half of a farm, equipment, and remodel the 100 yr. old homestead. Plus we raised 3 Christian sons, with a tremendous work ethic.

I am a woman who loves clothes, jewelry, makeup, and home goods. However, I limit myself. It’s hard to pass things up when you really want them. Before purchasing anything, ask yourself the following questions: Yes, I really want this. “But do I really need it?”

LORD: Help me to teach my children not to be self-centered. Allow me to bless them with necessities. Help them to learn to be obedient to your will.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
