PLAYING IN THE RAIN WITH GRAMMA FARM.

                      STORYTELLER

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, courage, and a sound mind.

Your life changes, once you become a grandparent. When Tom and I became Gramma and Grampa Farm, our lives took on an entire new adventure!

It’s funny, because with grandkids, you can give them your wisdoms. Then you can make up for the mistakes you made with your own kids.  We are like 5 year olds sometimes…..and it’s awesome!

When our twin grandsons come to the farm, they come on an adventure! That’s what their daddy teaches them.

They are usually driving their mini-gator,  doing activities from Gramma’s Magic Basket, or wrestling with Grampa. Oh my goodness! Is Grampa ever a tease and a storyteller?

Last summer, we were out in the barn. The boys were climbing rolls of hay with dad’s assistance. A storm began to roll in quickly.  T Squirt was urging me ,”Gramma, I wanna go to the house.” I convinced him that there was nothing to fear, and the adults had him covered.

Once the lightening subsided, and it was just a cool rain, Gramma decided to play, and alleviate some childhood fears. Here were my words to T Squirt and Z. “Hey Squirteee have you ever played in the rain? Here’s what Gramma loves to do.”

I quickly proceeded to be an airplane and zoom around in the lot getting soaking wet. The boys fears dispersed and followed in my footsteps. We had a blast!

Think about this scenario….God says, ”I have your back. Fear not. Rest in me and become like little children.  GO PLAY IN THE RAIN!
