Adding Two Words Changes The Entire Meaning

Quotes speak to my heart in a very powerful way. It’s amazing how a few words can create emotion, empathy and compassion.

While investigating pinterest for quotes pertaining to strength, I came upon a picture of a fierce lion. These animals always depict strength, as they are kings that reign over all other animals.

Superimposed upon the visage is the following quote: “The devil whispered you can’t withstand the storm. The warrior replied, ”I am the storm.”

After I read the quote, it was as if The Holy Spirit was having a heart to heart with me. “Really? You know the truth, my Little Fearless Faith. You know absolutely where your strength lies. Hab: Book 2…Write the revelation down and make it clear on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.

You also can reiterate one of your favorite scriptures. Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ ,who gives me the strength.”

Anyone who thinks that they receive spiritual or emotional strength on his own, is a fool! The Big Secret: True inner strength comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

One of my favorite movies is Patton. The story of this true warrior, filled with many imperfections, is based on his faith in The Almighty. My uncle was in a unit under him. Using polite language(my how the general did curse and swear) To quote my uncle, “He was one tough old bird! He was fierce in battle. He was fierce in his faith.” General Patton was one of the greatest storms of WWII.

I did a Bible study last year by Pricilla Shier. It was a study that lined up with her movie, The War Room. Eph. 6:13-18 “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can distinguish all flaming arrows from the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God”

Every time that I had lectured at mass and the scriptures referred to Christ as “The Lion of Judah,” I ‘d get all choked up.

SO MY FRIENDS……I’ve added two words, which add to an entire new meaning of strength.

The quote now reads:

”The devil whispered, you can’t with stand the storm…..The warrior replied, …WITH CHRIST….

I AM THE STORM!”

May God guide you through every storm.

Love,

Granny
